Pros: I like how they diversify the eggs in different colors.
Cons: I wished they included those Easter colored grass underneath the eggs, and have another option to choose pastel colors, since I love pastel colored everything.

If you’re a big fan of protein, you have to buy these right away before they’re sold out! Its cute, simple and it will match with a Gudetama (Japanese mascot – the lazy egg) clothes.

Hey guys, long time no post. How is everyone doing? Sorry for not posting for, like, 3 months. I had planned to make a post on Easter about these cute earrings that I have, but I was having a hard time writing it. I guess you can say that I have “writers block” or something. Anyway, I wanted to use that same blog post and put it up a week after Easter, but I got lazy and forgot about it. Then, I slowly became lazier and lazier, and now we’re almost at the end of July and I still haven’t posted anything since then. I realized that the reason I wanted to make a blog is because I’ve always wanted to create one of my own. I was so jealous of other bloggers having their own niche, and I couldn’t come up with what I can call of my own, which is why when I started wearing these unique earrings at school, all of my friends loved them, which lead me an idea to create an Instagram account and blog to talk about them.
I had fun making these blog posts, to the point where I wanted to make money off of it. Yes, I let greed took the best of me. I wanted to make a living off of this, like some bloggers that were lucky enough to this as a full-time job. But, in order to do that, it takes A LOT of time, effort, and dedication to reach that goal. I need to remind myself that success doesn’t happen overnight. I used this blog as an creative outlet to call of my own, and to use it to improve my writing skills as a freelance Social Media Manager.
By the way, I became a freelance Social Media Manager/Co-host podcaster, back in May, with this guy who’s into geek culture, like me. He own two different podcasts, and one of them we talk about anime, manga, cosplay, and etc, while his second one, we talk about relationships and life experiences, and I had a blast being his co-host. I’ve spend most of my time managing his social media accounts that I neglected my own personal time doing other things, like, recording videos for my Youtube channel, my blog, and posting on Instagram for my earrings. And the main thing I hate about myself is that I have a bad, annoying habit of trying something new, I like it for a while, and then I suddenly gave up on it and never return to that hobby again. I HATE DOING THAT SO MUCH! I need to remind myself to stick with your new hobbies and never give up on it.
Also, my laptop is slow and laggy, so it’s hard for me to polish my blog to the design I wanted it to be. Once I saved up enough money, I ‘ll definitely get a faster laptop that can get the job done.
TL;DR – I gave up on my blog due to laziness, but now I want to get myself back to blogging again! So, expect a new, 3 MONTH LATE Easter blog review, hopefully later this week.

When I opened the package, it is as exactly as the picture. I was trying to avoid buying it because I was spending money all over the place on other earrings on my wishlist, but I felt that I had to get it before it was sold out, and so I did. I didn’t expect it to be bigger than I thought it would be, compared to the photo. I choose the white one, because, why not? I want to have the original feeling of having a real die, dangling down on my ear.

Pros & Cons:
The dice looks like it has baggy eyes.
Cons: I don’t like the lazy paint job on the dots. I took a close up shot with my camera, and you can see how the leftover black paint from the dots are smeared on the white surface of the dice. The photo is one of the examples on one side. I’ve also noticed that they didn’t filled in the dots all the way to through. I thought they would have used the same kind of black paint and filled in the empty holes all the way through the top. Also, you can see the white paint from the dots smeared on the surface of the black dice on the store’s photo. They did the same mistake, twice. I can’t believe I didn’t see that.
Pros: I like how there are other colors in the picture, and this time YOU CAN CHOOSE WHICH ONE TO PICK…if they’re not sold out, of course. I really want the black dice as a part of my collection.
Ratings: 7/10
I wished they would have cleaned off the black paint on the white parts of the dice. You can clearly tell that this is a rushed job. Other than that, the dice itself is ok.
Final Thoughts:
Do you have the urge to start gambling?
Other than having leftover black paint on the white surface of the dice, I still love these earrings. If someone is playing a board game with friends or family and they can’t find their dice anywhere, not even underneath the couch, grab these pairs of dice earrings, and use them as a substitute. Just don’t lose them, you need them to look cute for your everyday outing. I would never get tired of wearing them, and I hope that I don’t lose them either. *Knock on wood.*
I did lose one of my earrings last year, but I would have to save that post for another time. *SPOILER ALERT*…I was devastated. *Sad face.*

I. LOVE. JAPANESE ONIGIRI! I craved for these, I’ve seen them all the time in anime and manga. I actually tasted one for the first time at a Japanese deli/grocery store in Manhattan, and I almost cried in my seat, because I finally achieved one of my many childhood dreams, to eat a Japanese onigiri (Or in English, rice ball).
If you don’t know what an onigiri is…then, DON’T SPEAK TO ME! You need to go watch anime/read manga, just to understand the delicious, black and white delicacy. Just kidding! The definition of an onigiri, also known as o-mussubi, nigirimeshi, rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or cylindrical shapes and often wrapped in nori. Did I made you hungry yet? Well, this isn’t a blog about food, I’m here to show you an earring review, and for this week, I’ll give my critique to my onigiri (rice ball) earrings that I bought from the Wish app. (All images are credited by Google).
First Impression:
I wanted to cry, literally. This is a dream come true and I’m so happy I found these pair of earrings on the app.
DIY Funny Earrings Lovely Soft Girls Japanese Rice Ball Earrings
Design:
Eating rice balls underneath the cherry blossom tree.
The design is a triangular shaped rice ball with a red pickled plum in the middle, and it has a black nori (Japanese name for edible seaweed) wrapped all around it. If you look at it up close, you can see the detailed white rice, and it has a rough, plastic texture to it.
Weight:
It is a bit heavy when I hold it, but when I put on my ear, it’s actually light around the earlobe.

Pros & Cons:
Pros: I love the realistic appearance. I even have a matching sushi shirt that goes really well with it. This is personally one of my favorite earrings of 2018 (Which is the year that I bought it).
Cons: I have a few issues about the earrings. First, I don’t like how they didn’t completely fill in the red color of the pickled plum in the center. At a glance, this feels like is a rushed job, because I saw that they didn’t finished coloring all the way through. I don’t know what kind of brush they were using, but they could have at least complete the job before shipping an unfinished product to the customer. I even noticed a faint brush stroke around the black nori (seaweed) part, but it’s not too bad. You have to look very close to it in order to see the mistake. Overall, it is not very noticeable from a distance.
Second, this isn’t the first time that I bought this item. Last year, I had the same earring, and problem I had with it was that the bottom right corner had a piece of the rice and the seaweed sticking outward of the earring. I wished I could show the picture, but during that time, I didn’t had the idea of making an earring review blog in the first place, and I threw it out in the garbage because I didn’t like how it looked.
Third, this one bothers me the most. When I saw the earrings on the Wish app, the picture showed two other pairs of different earrings. This is what the image looks like if you’re curious about buying these earrings from this particular store:
Why can’t I choose the other two pairs!?
In my head I thought “Oh, cool, I can choose whichever pair that I want!” Wrong. Once I hit that orange button, the item is automatically sent to my cart. And this is what doesn’t make sense to me. You’re the owner of your store, you posted a photo of the different items that you’re going to sell. Why don’t have the option to let your customers choose what they want? I was so upset when I had to buy the same earrings again. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do love the ones that I got and I needed to replaced the crappy one that I received anyway, but I also want to have the freedom to choose whatever pair that I want. It’s like one of those blind bags things, where you randomly buy a pack of whatever toy brand that you’re interested in, and once you open it, you get what you want. But, if you buy a different bag and get the same item again, you’ll be a little bit frustrated and annoyed. And now what do you do? You waste your money on buying another blind bag again and again and again, and maybe…juuuust maybe, you might have a slight chance of getting the item that you want. This is how I felt when I got the same earrings again, because you really need to have pure luck on your side. The highest probability that you’ll get the same item is mostly likely 50/50, and that honestly sucks.
Ratings: 7/10
Only because I don’t like how incomplete the pickled plum looked to me, and we can’t choose the other two pair of earrings that were promised in the photo.
Final Thoughts:
I love these earrings. Out of all the earrings that I have collected, These are probably the only pair that I wear the most on a daily basis. Every time I wear these to school, a lot of people gave me compliments about them. The reason why I gave this a passable grade is because I’m very picky when it comes to food jewelry, especially on Etsy. I’ve seen a lot beautiful food earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and I love how each and every owner put SO MUCH EFFORT into making their food jewelry look very realistic, but at the same time, they are very expensive and the shipping cost will be over $10, but it depends on which store you’re getting it from, which is why I stay away from the website. I wished some stores on the Wish app would have realistic food jewelry as well, because the prices and shipping cost would be cheaper. They do have decent food earrings, but you can tell from the pictures that the quality of their crafting really sucks, and they don’t put any effort into them. Either way, I don’t regret buying these earrings.

Ok, when I first saw these earrings, it gave me a Frankie Stein vibe from Monster High, you know, how she creates electricity from her body and brings any inanimate objects to life…and also shock others in a comedic way. She even has a belt with a lighting symbol on it, so I thought that this would be a great accessories for cosplay purposes.
*Sigh* Monster High was a good series with a good message behind it. I’m upset that show discontinued and they changed the entire appearance of each and every character and completely erased the other memorable students that I know and love. I don’t even know if their are toy line are even popular anymore. “Ahem* ok, enough about my depressing rant, but, back to my review!
First Impression:
I could not believe how cute they made the cloud. This has to be inspired by the lighting cloud emoji, because look at the similarities:
See, they’re almost the same in both shape and form. The one on the left looks like a “We-tried-our-best” Chinese knock-off version of an thundercloud emoji on the right, but it still resembles the same idea if you compare the two with a side by side photo.

As I stated from the beginning, the image that came to mind when I first saw these earrings was Frankie Stein, only because It would be so cute to wear these for cosplay. I just hope that I find a real thundercloud emoji on the Wish app, because they have a lot of the yellow-faced emoji studs from different stores, so it might be a hint that they’ll probably expand more of the other emojis their app.
